Year 9 & 10 Awards Presentation – July 2017

Staff, students and parents came together to celebrate the achievements and progress of students over the past year.  Nominations  from each curriculum area were put forward with some lovely personal comments from staff such as for:

Thomas Jeacock (9JC): “Thomas is a credit to the school.  He is a credit to his parents and above all, he is a credit to himself!”

Olivia Willings (10MB): “Awarded for effort and growth mindset for maths.  She has shown maturity in approach to learning beyond her years!”

Elise Williams ((9RJ): “Quietly brilliant!”

Lucia Stock (10DB): “Lucia does not settle for ‘good enough’ but always challenges herself further.”

Ben Tweedle (10JCh): “Ben is a good friend and colleague to students.  He is always willing to help others.”

The evening was pleasantly rounded off with a social gathering of parents, staff and students outside in the precinct.
