Dear Parents & Carers

Many thanks for your understanding this week after a positive case in school at the weekend.  We are monitoring all absences closely and appreciate all parental support on this.

We are pleased at how well students are getting back into their learning both in and out of school and if you have any concerns about your child’s learning, please do contact their tutor and /or their teacher first.

Next week is a busy week, as we host our Annual Open evening to show case our school, on Thursday at 6.00pm,  this be done virtually this year but do look at our website for details.

On Friday we have the official Opening of our new STEM building and the Astro Turf Pitch.  The latter is being named the Southgate Pitch, after John Southgate, who was our Chair of Governors for over 10 years. Unfortunately, it cannot be the event we planned but we did want to officially name these two new facilities, as the students are using them and enjoying them both too.

Can I just ask you to remind your children about wearing face coverings in the corridors and that the cloth ones are probably the most practical for them?  They also need to wear them on all public transport. Please see the link below.

Wishing you all a restful weekend,

Yvonne Watkins
