Dear Parents & Carers
It is great to be back and see so many smiling happy students in school. Thank you for all your support to start the term so positively, especially with the Lateral Flow Testing.
Here are a few updates and requests for the new term ahead –
Please continue with the twice weekly testing of your child/children at home and record the results on the NHS App.
We are relaunching the PTA with a meeting on Thursday 16 September at the College, 5.00pm in the main hall. Thanks to all who have expressed an interest in this and please do come along and join us to help create our new vibrant PTA team.
TRAVEL TO & FROM SCHOOL
Please do keep to the one way system when entering and leaving the Leisure Centre car park and please keep clear of all the yellow lines around the school area – not only for the safety of our students but also for our neighbouring community.
As we are all trying to improve the safety of our roads, and especially for cyclists, we have been asked to send this consultation to all parents. The proposals are to create a through cycle route from Emsworth to Chichester to encourage more cyclists onto the roads safely. Please do respond to this by 23 September.
We apologise for the lapses in service that we have experienced this week in the Canteen again. We had another urgent meeting with our providers this morning, who have assured us that an improved service will be in place for next week. We are insistent that it must improve for the health and wellbeing of all the students. Mr Moore, the school Business Manager, will keep you updated and will make sure that this situation is resolved as quickly as possible.
We would like to wish the staff and students who are away on a Duke of Edinburgh trip this weekend, a wonderful time. The first trip away for over a year!
Wishing you all a restful weekend.
