Students in years 10 and 11 follow personalised pathways.
Core Subjects
Students follow a compulsory core of English, Maths, Science, Personal Development and PE.
English – 4 lessons per week
All students study and are entered for GCSE English Language – AQA Level 1/Level 2 GCSE (9-1) in English Language
and GCSE English Literature – AQA Level 1/Level 2 GCSE (9-1) in English Literature.
Maths – 4 lessons per week
All students study and are entered for GCSE Mathematics – AQA Level 1/Level 2 GCSE (9-1) in Mathematics.
Students studying individual Sciences also study GCSE Statistics – AQA Level 1/Level 2 GCSE (9-1) in Statistics.
Science – 9 lessons per week
All students study three Sciences: GCSE Biology, GCSE Chemistry and GCSE Physics- AQA Level 1/Level 2 GCSE (9-1).
