Statement of Use
Go4Schools is our main communication and data sharing hub. It comprises a number of integrated modules designed to allow triangulation of information for Staff, Students, Parents and Governors. (Homework, Data, reports, Seating plans and Timetables). This is a real-time data platform allowing all to constantly monitor student progress.
There is an expectation that:
- Staff use Go4S to record data on a daily basis and publish homework required.
- Students access timetables and homework as a minimum.
- Parents access as a point of daily information to inform them of their child’s progress over time.

Residual Scheme
The residual is how far above or below the student is from their End of Year Destination / KS4 Target. Each grade is divided into 3, for example grade 4 is made up of 4-, 4, 4+. If a student has a target of 4 but is working at 3 they have a residual of -1 as they are 1 whole grade from reaching their target. If a student has target of 5- but is working at 5 they will have a residual of 0.3 as they are working 1/3 of a grade higher than the target. The residual scheme also contains a colour relating to the residual score:
– Working Above Expected Level
– Working At Expected Level
– Working Below Expected Level
– Working Significantly Below Expected Level |
