GCSE Exam Results 2015

We are extremely proud of the hard work and commitment shown by both students and staff which have led to another excellent set of exam results this year.

In fact, over 70% gained an A*-C grade in Mathematics and over 70% gained an A*-C grade in English Language, English Literature or both. There was a 98% A*-C pass rate for those students studying Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

We are especially proud that 15% of all grades awarded to our students were either A* or A grades, reflecting our continued push for excellence in all areas.

The highest performing students this year included:

Sam Tweedle (9A* and 1A);

Michael Hobson (8A*, 1A and 1B);

Katy Baines (7A*, 2A and 1B);

Fiona Marshall (5A*, 4A and 1B);

Grace Masih (5A*, 4A and 1B) and

Reuben James (5A*, 5A and 1C).

Our sincere congratulations go to all of our departing students as they take up their hard earned places at local colleges or start on employment pathways.
