Dear Parents/Carers

SOUTHERN RAILWAY RMT UNION STRIKE ACTION

You may already be aware that Southern Railway train services will be affected on Wednesday 18 May 2016. This will have a significant effect on Southern services, with no service on many routes and only a limited service between 7.30am – 6.00pm approximately, on others.

The updated timetable information for that day is now available on the Southern website at www.southernrailway.com/strike.

Southern Rail services are also affected by a high level of conductor sickness, which means they are cancelling some services on other days. They will continue to update live departure boards and the online journey planner at www.nationalrail.co.uk with service amendments for each day as soon as information is available.

Please remember to contact the school and advise if your child is unable to attend due to the strike action.

Yours Sincerely

Mr Simon Liley
Headteacher
