Parents and Carers of children at Bourne Community College

21st April 2016

Dear Parents

I am writing to inform you that the Head Teacher of Bourne Community College, Simon Liley, will be leaving the school at the end of the Summer Term to take up a new role as Head Teacher at The Angmering School.

This is a promotion for Simon who will be taking on a larger school with a greater age range of pupils so I am delighted for him. However I am also very sorry that Bourne will lose an excellent Head Teacher whom I know has earned your respect over the last three years and has introduced some great new initiatives to ensure that your children achieve the very best grades and outcomes.

We will be starting the process of recruiting a new Head in the next few weeks and I will let you know the outcome in due course.

Yours sincerely

Mrs S J Legrave OBE DL

Chair of Governors Bourne Community College
