Astro Pitch

Dear Parents/Carers

As a school we are always striving to develop and enhance the learning environment for our students, staff and the wider community. With this aim in mind we have, for a number of years, been looking at the potential for developing our PE infrastructure; in short by adding a multi-purpose Astro Pitch to our range of amenities.

Planning and cost are clearly two major considerations in this venture. Whilst we are confident that we can meet these challenges, in order to secure funding from organisations such as The National Lottery and Sport England, we must first provide evidence that such a facility would be an asset to both the school and the local community as a whole and would be actively employed on a regular basis.

This is where I would ask for your help. We need to identify and contact local clubs, teams and organisations who would potentially use this amenity in order for us to gauge the viability of the venture. I would be most grateful if you could advise me of any organisation that you know of or are involved with that I can contact to discuss whether they would consider hiring the pitch on either a regular or ad hoc basis if it was provided.

Many thanks in anticipation of your assistance, I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours faithfully
