Students are assigned to a tutor group which meet with their form Tutor daily for 15 minutes. Their relationship with their form tutor is an important feature of their life at Bourne Community College and we try to maintain these groups and tutors for the duration of their time at Bourne.
Bourne Community College operates a weekly timetable with 5x 1 hour lessons per day (See Calendar for times of college day).
In Key Stage 3 (Years 7, 8 and 9) we teach a broad and balanced curriculum which follows the governments current National Curriculum for maintained schools. In Key Stage 4 all students study the core subjects of English Language, English Literature, maths, science, PSHE and PE. Students then choose 4 additional subjects from a long list which includes performing arts, technology, creative arts, sports and linguistic areas of study.
