BOURNE COMMUNITY
COLLEGE
“Achievement through Partnership”
Specialist MFL/English College
Uniform Policy 2010 -
2011
Bourne
Community College is a “uniform” College. All students wear uniform
without exception. A uniform helps to give unity and identification
to a school, it can make less obvious the different financial
circumstances of parents and students from the temptations of
temporary extremes of fashion.
The
College holds stock of “nearly new” uniform and we welcome
enquiries if parents are interested.
We are
grateful to parents for their full support in seeing that high
standards are maintained in the wearing of uniform, tidiness and
cleanliness. Our students have considerable pride in the membership
of this College: their co-operation with parents in this matter is
indicative of that feeling.
We assume
all parents will ensure their children dress according to this
uniform list and will support the College.
We expect
a high standard of dress whilst students make their way to and from
College and during the College Day.
