Why Partnering with Local Business is Important

Bourne Community College is strengthening its links with local business people and it is hoped that this will result in long lasting benefits for the local community. Bourne Community College has successfully submitted an application to become a Specialist Language College and as a result will be offering a range of new services to primary partners and local businesses over the forthcoming months.

Specialist School Status

Bourne Community College has successfully applied to become a Specialist Language College and as a result will get £100,000 extra funding from DfES. This will open up new opportunities for the students.

Bourne Business Breakfasts

Bourne Community College hosts a business breakfast club run by Chichester District Council and Bourne Community Resource Centre. This provides local business people with a regular opportunity to meet, share ideas and learn from others in a relaxed environment.
